One of the things I'm keen to do is get into more academic-style freelance consulting, scriptwriting, research and the like to make use of my academic background, my various degrees and my general journalism skills.
So, if you have a property and need someone with a strong focus on the humanities, I am now available and would love to chat if you need anyone with a specific focus in the subjects below.
As always, you can reach me at ashabardonfreelanceservices@gmail.com.

I have a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Theology and Religious Studies, including a focus on modern Paganism and Wicca, religious history, Christianity, Buddhism, Shintō and New Religious Movements, as well as those usually labelled 'cults'.
I have a Master's degree in Classics with a broad focus on history and religion. My main areas of interest are on Ptolematic Egypt, the reign of Cleopatra VII, and the destruction of Pompeii. Then there's my main areas of fascination: Greek mythology, Egyptian mythology, the Roman Imperial Cult and Mystery Cults like the Cult of Isis, the Cult of Mithras and the Eleusinian Mysteries. I also focus on the retelling of Greek myth through modern media like anime and manga, as well as being grounded in classics like The Illiad, The Odyssey and The Aeneid.
I have a Master's degree (with Merit) in Interdisciplinary Japanese Studies with a focus on manga, anime and gaming. I have a broad historical and cultural focus around the Heian, Sengoku and Edo periods. My main focus, however, is on folklore and the religious landscape during these eras, including Shintō, Buddhism and New Religious Movements, especially those based in Shintõ like Konkōkyō and Tenrikyō and Buddhist movements like Sōka Gakkai.
If any of this sounds like something you need, do please get in touch!
